THE PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH

The Purpose of the Church in America

has become running a business called a church.

With its Building and Growth programs,

and all of its Entertainment and Dining;

it has become a place of

intellectual debate and reason

to convert people to a way of thinking.

THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT IS

THE PURPOSE THAT GOD INTENDED.

The Purpose of the Church should be Basic.

1) Be Led By The Spirit Of God

2) Preach The Gospel Of The Kingdom

3) Make Disciples Of All Nations

1) BE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD

Romans 8:14 says

"For as many as are lead by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."

2) PREACH THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

Matthew 24:14 says

"this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world

for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come"

3) MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS

Matthew 28:18-20 says

"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority

in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father

and of the son and of the Holy Spirit,

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Matthew 9:35

"And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and

preaching the gospel of the kingdom,

and healing every sickness and every disease amont the people.
